Update on the gas main replacement project
The PECO contractor doing the gas main replacement should be finished the gas main instillation this weekend. While that is good news for those of you who have become construction weary, the work is not quite complete yet. If you live in the affected areas the second half of the work is about to begin. At each residence where the gas mains have been upgraded they have to connect your residential gas line to the new main. If you haven’t been contacted yet, a representative from Riggs Distler will be contacting you to schedule a day to do the work at your residence. While we are aware of the inconvenience this may cause, we’re hopeful that the work can be preformed quickly will as little disruption as possible. Riggs will have 4 service crews out daily Monday thru Friday in the hopes of completing this phase of the project as quickly as possible. The affected streets are listed below, but if you live in the work area we’re sure that you are already aware of your streets inclusion. We know that this has been a long summer of traffic interruptions and noisy work, but the end of the project is coming soon and if we can all work together we can get through this last bit of work.
