Public Works Responsibilities The borough public works department has numerous responsibilities throughout the borough. These include storm and sanitary sewer inspection and maintenance, snow plowing and salting, leaf and yard waste collection, landscaping, traffic signals, street lighting, street signs, municipal parking lots, and maintenance of borough buildings.
